In 2014, commemorating the 300th anniversary of Kristijonas Donelaitis' birth, the first high-quality facsimile in Lithuania, meeting the highest global standards, was published in Vilnius. This edition aimed to recreate as authentically as possible the first edition of "METAI" ("The Seasons"),  prepared and published by Liudvikas Rėza in 1818.

This facsimile stands out for its exceptional attention to detail:

• Authentic Paper: Specially produced in Germany, the paper with an authentic, chaotically arranged watermark replicates the properties of the original edition's paper.
• Details and Marginalia: All details, marginalia, and time-worn marks are precisely reproduced, creating the illusion of an old book. Even the threads were chosen to match the original.
• Historical Value: This edition is not just a copy of the book, but also a living connection to Lithuanian literary classics and their history.
